It’s official, MU out of Music City Bowl!

Too bad for the players. Fans really cant gripe about it with everything going on. Would have loved to see the hawks one more time but 8 games was pretty darn good and the last 6 were special.

How are people openly admitting to visiting family on the holidays? I thought you were supposed to keep that a secret these days.

I hear that Mizzou is looking to schedule a make-up bowl game against Arkansas State. Gary Pinkel will be calling plays......

Do we still get to practice?

That is the single important thing about making a bowl.
I bet coach sends em home... Since they've been on lockdown forever and all. Let guys chill and gives seniors time to decide on what they wanna do. How many (if any) will take advantage of the free yr?

I saw that QB at Miami is coming back. That surprised me. He's betting on himself for next yr not having to compete with Lawrence, Fields, Wilson etc that he can improve his stock. Interesting gamble for a qb like him.

At the end of the day losing to the likes of Northwestern and Purdue has its consequences.

The worst part of this is the Mizzous coaches. How the hell did they even think they should accept the bid to begin with knowing what we do now? Then to send kids home and back thinking they'd have less cases? What kind of logic is that? I wish Iowa coulda been more in the loop on their situation earlier so we coulda booted their ass to look for a new opponent. Having that go down yesterday left no time. Such a crock of shit. Either they did it on purpose to be dicks or they are really really really stupid. Either way F Mizzou

The fact that they let the players go home for Christmas tells me they really weren't serious about playing the game in the first place.

The fact that they let their players go home tells me they aren't serious about slowing the spread during a pandemic.

I am curious to know which is it. Are they just that stupid that they thought sending the kids home would help at all? Or were they just wanting to make sure they didn't play. But again if they weren't serious about playing from the jump why accept the bid to start with? Why do that wait till the last min and screw Iowa out of playing at all? If by the end of Dec after 9 months or so of all this Covid crap they are that Fn stupid then just fire em all.
