David Sims used someone elses credit card to buy two pairs of shoes and something to eat if I remember correctly. Before ever appearing in court he paid the total amount back to the owner of the card. It was an idiotic move and he sat out a game for it.

DJKilo on the other hand was 'running a drug house' (whatever that means), had multiple narcotics in the home, tested positive for said drugs, had stacks of cash, scales, etc. He will also miss one game for a much more serious charge. Your logic is a little skewed, son.

He will miss one game because there is only one game left to play in his career. What is Kirk supposed to do? Suspend him from playing NCAA 2011 on his playstation until summer?

I'm just pointing out that this whole thread is beyond ridiculous, it screams of denial, which coincidentally is the first stage of grief. I do see that some of you have moved on to anger though, which is good, it shows that you are mentally moving forward with the situation. It's healthy, really.

So you're saying you would have been ok with it if Bowman and Douglas would have paid back their victims before going to court and were allowed to play after sitting for a game, I highly doubt it, you along with the rest of them over at CF would have been all over KF.

I don't think his logic is skewed at all, if DJK was a junior he wouldn't have been coming back for a senior season, at Iowa anyway.

Also I don't know if DJK's charge is much more serious, putting drugs in your own body or cleaning out someone's checking accout so they can't make payments on things like a mortgage/rent, buy groceries, pay the utilities, etc... which one seems like it would hurt another person more?

What are you talking about? Good thing you let it pass because you would have sounded like the dense one. Douglas and Bowman didn't rape anyone, they did the exact same thing as Sims, stole a CC and used it and were booted off the team and didn't play a single down for Iowa after it happened, sure they spent a little more but it is still all the same.

I haven't read anything other than the OP but my guess is this won't stop morons from being morons (notice I didn't say Clown fans because no intelligent Clown fan I've ever been in contact with actually thought this). Here what I predict their response will be....

1) He only did this because he HAD to not because he wanted to.
2) Adrian Clayborn didn't miss any games.

You're right. I had those two mixed up with Satterfield and Everson. So many arrests they are hard to keep track of!

the fact that this thread was even started clearly shows that some hawk fans DO have some insecurities about the control (or lack there of) the coaching staff at Iowa has over it's players and the constant bringing in of bad character guys.

The scary part about this is (and no Clone fan will admit this) is that he speaks for the majority of the people on CyFan. Tripe such as this is taken as gospel on that board. It is believed to be truth.
