ISU Fan stands on top of a truck and waves his flag and gets pelted by beercans.

Looks like a nice college football enviroment to me. Full of respectable bankers and lawyer types. On a side note im pretty ashamed at the amount of alcohol abuse going on. I thought you Iowa fans knew better then that.
 
I gotta imagine these are the same people that ***** when they get ticketed for doing stupid **** like this when alcohol is involved, videos like this do nothing but give the UI more of a reason to do the things their doing. All that said I still endorse pelting clone fans with small to medium sized projectiles resulting mild to moderate blunt force trauma injuries.
 
Gets pelted?? hardly. Out of 100 or more cans Hawk Fan connected maybe 4 times. The clip is 32 seconds long and it wasn't until the 16 second mark and 50 or so misses Iowa fan finally connects.

I hear a guy on the tape laugh and say nobody is hitting him..

And that ISU fan was up there taunting the heck out of ALL the hawkeye fans in the lot, I was there when it happened, I mean what did he expect was going to happen???? Did he think he was going to heckle everyone and then in return get kisses blown at him???

I'm sure it looks much different in Nebraska. Give me a break Bigredpowerminivan. Yes, I'm appalled by the alcohol consumption. . . again I'm sure it is much different in Lincoln. Go concentrate on Iowa State.

Usually I enjoy your presence, not tonight. . . due to alcohol abuse i've been fighting.

Making a scene in a hostile environment however will always make for a poor ending
 
That was planned by Hawk fans to put a Hawk fan in a McDonalds uniform and engage the Hawk crowd. It was all fun and staged.
 
There are a lot of stupid people in that video, #1 being the guy on the top of a van in the middle of Iowa city waiving a cyclone flag.
 
Why would anybody throw a full can of beer with people standing around and vehicles everywhere. I'm wondering how many vehicles were damaged and if any innocent bystanders got hit. That is embarrassing for Hawkeye fans and this video will go viral like the OSU/PSU video did.

Wow! Really?

Even if it was....don't you think he did prove his point? Throwing beer cans at somebody is awful. I don't care who the fan is....what he did.....or what he was saying. What happens if one of those hits him in the face?

I agree Redhawk. It is scenes like this that make me hang my hawkeye head in shame. Yes the ISU fan was being exuberant in showing his support for the his team, but those that were abusing him were unexcusable.

While I do not support the crackdown on alcohol, or at least how they are going about it... I can understand why some feel like something has to be done.
