Definitely one of the biggest Heisman busts but not as bad as OJ.
OJ had a great pro career. Did you ever see him? He was a real slasher, he could carve up a defense.
As for Leaf, there was a lot of speculation whether he or Manning would go #1. This was during the era where sports psychology really started taking off, and I recall an interview with a guy who's firm had vetted them both. He said we believe one of these guys has all the traits to be a great NFL QB, and the other one doesn't. Cut and dried. He wouldn't elaborate. Talk about nailing it.
