Is it even possible

for B Ferentz to get a title as a position coach? I thought that the state's anti-nepotizm policy says that someone can't be directly surervised by a direct relative. That is why Sam Alford was "director of basketball operations" and technically didn't report to Steve during their time here.

Obviously there are creative ways to get B Ferentz involved with the Iowa program, but can he be a position coach?

As a position coach, would he be directly supervised by the Coordinator, i.e. KOK, rather than KF? Not sure how that works.

What? They are head coach and DC at Oklahoma. They are brothers making them DIRECT RELATIVES. Now if you meant father son, that's different, but they are relatives all the same.
And they do not work under Iowa state laws, which the original post made reference to.

I think it just means the higher has to be approved with a little more scrutiny (if that is possible) by some administrater. Brian is obviously qualified and would pass this since he played Division 1 football and has been an assistant under one of the best and most successful NFL coaches in recent history.
