Is Illinois in over Iowa with a win today?

Iowa may be in TODAY...but selection isn't today. It is Sunday. And a lot of teams are still playing. Iowa is done. If the Big 10 takes 7 teams then yes, the Hawks will make it. If they only take 6, they won't be, because Minnesota passed them with their win last night (identical record, better RPI, which will improve after they play Wisconsin). It is not looking good for Iowa.

Minnesota makes it ahead of Iowa. You are out of your mind.

Does the selection committee look at the BPI? It considers close losses to good teams and large margins in victories.

Also, do you think Iowa's good run in the NIT last year has any impact on the committee's general feelings about the team?
No, but those who compiled 2013-2014 preseason rankings certainly were impressed with Iowa's run in the NIT... And, IMO, Iowa's newfound preseason status allowed the team to play in the Bahamas instead of Alaska....

You're really putting in excellent effort, I'll give ya that.

Iowa could lose the first round, but they're in the Dance. Give it about a day or so, it'll sink in.

If I'm on the committee and I see the big stinking one the Hawks have dropped in the last seven games, no, I don't invite them to my dance.

So would you only invite 67 teams or would you fill the 68th spot will a worse team just cause you hate Iowa?
