We have it. Wisc, Mich State and OSU all suck bad. I cannot believe Indiana is beating Mich State at Mich State. Had Fran not ****** away the Wisky game, we'd be way in the lead. Who woulda thunked it...

Indiana isn't untalented. They're just young and are going to be inconsistent. Plus, it doesn't hurt that MSU is a walking M*A*S*H unit right now. Harris and Appling are both ailing and Payne isn't even playing. Even with the comfort of playing at home, that's an awful lot of firepower to be missing/less than 100%.

But you compared it to a BCS Bowl win and wrestling national championships, which is what he compares reaching a Final Four or winning the conference to.

To me winning the conference title is kinda neat, so is winning the conference tournament, but none of that compares to reaching the Final Four. Iowa last reached the Final Four under Lute Olson, I was little but the win over Georgetown is what got my attention and made me the Hawkeye fan I am today. Hawkeye fanaticism in this state would be unbelievable if they ever reached the Final Four.

How badly were you guys outnumbered? It would seem that venue would have had a lot of Cuse and GTown fans.

Not very many Hawk fans to be sure. The 4th team there I think was Maryland? Many brain cells ago but it was great. Flew back that night on a private plane and almost went to Iowa City to meet the team and the wrestlers at the fieldhouse.
