Iowa Vs. Ohio State Game Thread

What is the situation where the opposing coach picks the shooter? Is it when the person is hurt like that situation? Not arguing, just can't remember.

Shooting team picks the shooter on injury...doesn't have to be the guy subbing in i don't think. If it is, sub in our best ft shooter and switch matchup or sub out if he makes second ft

I think if MG had just tried to make the layup and not worry about jumping into the defender he would've made it.

Found it in the rule book.

When an injured player is unable to attempt his free throw try(s), the coach from the opposing team shall select one of the four remaining players on the playing court to attempt the free throw try(s). When the foul is flagrant or the player is bleeding and the injured player is unable to attempt the free throw try(s), the injured player’s coach shall select any player or team member to attempt the free throw try(s).

Crunch time ... Will it be the Hawkeyes or the Chokeyes?

Let's see what goofy rotation comes out of this time out and how this next possession goes. If it's empty and OSU scores ... ink the L.

The bad news is all their players have 4 fouls which means the refs will let them get away with murder. Or at least hammering Woody from behind.
