North Texas is totally overmatched on both sides of the ball. The Mean Green were beaten handily by two below-average teams.

Iowa will move the ball at will and will be looking to get sharp before going to Wisconsin. North Texas will be held to under 100 yards of offense before Iowa's D starters are pulled.

A late garbage score will avert a shutout.

everyone is saying the 2nd team is going to get a lot of minutes. I'll be a negative ned and say the emotional bank is empty and the Ghost of Ferentz Chivalry is raised: not good at covering big point spreads. plus a muffed PAT. get all the bad juju out early in the season.

Well I'm hoping that the players are not over confident like the media and fans are. I'd love to see them come out strong and make room on the scoreboard for back ups to play. That is something we have not seen in a few years. We'll see.
