Mincey lifts ST John up and gets the takedown but Derek with a quick escape and trails 2-1.

DSJ should really be able to ride Mincey....Mincey is basically a 141 kid they are saying but wrestling up.

St John hits a high crotch and switches it off but out of bounds and Ironside wants fleeing the mat. St John gets right back in for the takedown and cuts him and gets another.

Ironside that Mincey is done and Derek is doing whatever he wants with him now. St John gets another takedown and now cuts him again. ALmost puts him to his back but just get the takedown and rides him out. St John leads 11-6 after the 2nd and Mincey was warned for stalling.

St John takes neutral now to keep the momentum from the feet and build the lead. Derek hits a double leg and they are scramblng here but there is the takedown and cuts him loose again 13-7 now and there is another td and cut, td. THis is hard to keep up with!!! He has the major now and is going to ride him and try to turn him. He now leads 17-8 I believe... Plus riding time.

Derek stacks him up but can't quite get the fall but does get 2nf and wins 20-8! Great job Derek!

Ironside said that there were good things there but he is still mad to see that 3 on Minnesota's side of the scoreboard! I love that attitude!
