Stevens gets out but still nothing going from there feet. Ramos is starting to pick up the pace here though.
 
Tony gets a nice single and brings it up but just can't finish. Right back in but they go out of bounds and Stevens gets called for stalling.

Michigan coaches are mad and on the mat arguing and the bench gets warned.
 
The 2nd period will come to an end with Stevens holding a 1-0 lead. Ramos starts the 3rd period on bottom.
 
o wow how didn't he get a penalty point...this ref is a pretty laid back guy ive talked with him a few times
 
Tony gets in deep and there is the takedown with 25 seconds left and he locks up the bar arm for a 2 point nearfall!!! Stevens gets out and Ramos right back in on a leg and there is another takedown with 5 seconds left for the 7-2 win! That was the way to finish the match!

Russell shoots a half double but backs out. They are tying up a lot and feeling each other out here early.
 
Montell trying to work a 2 on 1 and Russell has a tough collar tie but no real shots 2 minutes into the 1st period.
 
Russell hits a nice shot with about 35 seconds left but they go out of bounds with no points scored. Montell is staying in tough but no real shots at this point.
 
Montell fires up but gets a caution. He gets back to his feet and there is the escape and he is right back in on a shot!! He gets REALLY Close but Russell is fighting it off nicely... Stalemate.
