I am not raising my hand.....I do not see Iowa as a hungry team that can/will bounce back....there are many conversations among this team and staff as to what the f*ck happened yesterday......this will be/and has been our MO going deeper into the season.....conservative play leads to idle thoughts in my opinion....what we witnessed yesterday was not Iowa football, not even close, what we witnessed was a scared little football team that does not have the courage to rise up and win......and that starts w/the captain......Next Saturday's game will just turn the knife a little deeper in the black and gold faithful.....sad state of affairs.....

As a typical sports fan, I'm probably overreacting but after Purdue hung with ND for a half, I'm not sure we'll beat the Boilermakers either.

When your very lucky to be 2-1 and should probably be 0-3 against UNI-Ball State-ISU than it's going to be a very long year. If Iowa plays like they have these last 3 weeks we finish at best with 3 maybe 4 wins.

Actually it is Iowa football. I am in the final phase so the knife no longer hurts. It is now my responsibility to help others who struggle with the painful/depressing addiction that is Iowa football.

I am now like a team rooting for losses for draft position. This team going 7-5 or 6-6 will do nothing other than extend the futility. the money men need to separate from Kirk ferentz.

KF and the staff will take all kinds of criticism this week (just another week that ends in 'k') so the team will get pumped up this week to give KF a win in his home state. Hawks win 24-20 on a perfectly thrown deep ball by JR for a 57 yd TD and then the Def gets a pick to effectively end the game.

Ever since Randle El ran wild against Iowa in 1998 (we beat them 62-0 the year before), Indiana has been a tough game, since, and it feels like we've lost more than won against them, since. In 2010, Indiana had the dropped TD that preserved an Iowa win.

I was looking through most threads about yesterday's game trying to find your spin on it. Then saw this prediction and realized you can't spin yesterday's game because it is impossible. Instead you moved onto next week like nothing happened. I applaud your blind faith but at the same time want to smack you in the face and scream wake up!
I am not overly mad about yesterday as I predicted this lose all week long plus the Pitt game next I am predicting a loss as well. I told all my friends before the season started I thought this was a 7-5 team maybe even 6-6. I couldn't see what others were seeing beyond the easy schedule. I see more of a resemblance of the 2012 team than last year's team right now.
I hope I am wrong but I don't think I am, only time will tell. Go hawks!
Boat, he didn't say the 57 yards would be in the air. It will be a 3 yard route with 54 YAC. He just left out the details.
I have a "gut feeling" 'that KF will give CJ extended PT in the first half and Iowa will move the ball during his possessions. Then, he will refuse to play CJ in the second half and the Hawks will lose. In his post-game presser, he will say going back to Jake in the second half was a "gut feeling" that Jake gave them the best chance not to lose.

It's sad but there isn't a game on our very weak schedule that is a sure thing this year.
