Ed sure does like Beathard. Thats not the first time he's made a comment like that.

Eddie has watched them both in practice since the preseason, and has consistently come away with the opposite opinion from GD & KF over who should be starting.

The more I watch the defensive line I think they are coached to contain on pass plays rather than rush the passer. They stand up and hand fight to make sure the qb doesn't go by them. They are excellent in tackling rb's for a loss but can't get to the qb on a pass.
