Oh, so the program fell off when Alford left? I hadn't noticed.
Alford didn't leave in 2003. Just thought I should let you know since you seem confused about it.

It's amazing how much "on s cript" Iowa is playing in regards to W/L this year.
Haven't seen a season like this in a long time. Winning the ones they are supposed to, losing to those expecting to.
Iowa needs to get a win they aren't supposed to before the end of the year, though.
Sunday would be a nice time to start.
Michigan wasn't a sweep.
A win at home is a signature win?
IMO, it's another "cannot lose" game.
The game @ IU would rate as a signature win obviously.

you're not supposed to beat unranked teams at home?
news to me
This is the point of Sunday's game. Most 'experts' will tell you that Minnesota is better than Iowa and therefore should win the game. When they can pull it off, it will be a good win for the Hawks. Maybe not quality in the eyes of the selection committee, but good none the less.Again Iowa is not favored to win this game.

Steve Alford was a plague upon the house of Iowa basketball, and no amount of internet half-witicism will ever change that.

As always, OK4P's basketball trolling is a sloppy, error filled mess. The difference between his football trolling and basketball trolling is huge.
