Iowa Sweeps Northwestern and PSU - no biggie right?

It's amazing how much "on s cript" Iowa is playing in regards to W/L this year.
Haven't seen a season like this in a long time. Winning the ones they are supposed to, losing to those expecting to.

Iowa needs to get a win they aren't supposed to before the end of the year, though.

Sunday would be a nice time to start.

Sunday would be a nice time to start.

Minny beating Bo Cryan was great and it also set up Sundays game that much more..we had them in the barn and it's gonna take a miracle for the Goofers to walk out of the best atmosphere in years with a W on Sunday! Get loud Iowa City!!

A win at home is a signature win?

IMO, it's another "cannot lose" game.

The game @ IU would rate as a signature win obviously.

It's "cannot lose" because it's one of two realistic chances left to get a quality win, and Iowa needs more of those.

Something that wouldn't have seemed so minor to fans who stuck through the dark, Lickliter period, but does seem so minor now considering the fact that we have a decent/good team once again. We've clinched a winning regular season record.

Again Iowa is not favored to win this game.
This is the point of Sunday's game. Most 'experts' will tell you that Minnesota is better than Iowa and therefore should win the game. When they can pull it off, it will be a good win for the Hawks. Maybe not quality in the eyes of the selection committee, but good none the less.

Alford didn't leave in 2003. Just thought I should let you know since you seem confused about it.

As always, OK4P's basketball trolling is a sloppy, error filled mess. The difference between his football trolling and basketball trolling is huge.

The Okeefe/GD thing works because he has a good point. The alford thing worked when Lick was here, but Fran>>>>>Alford so that has fallen off considerably.

Four wins in the best conference in the nations, playing against teams with high SOSs game after game, is a biggie.
