This is the best part about being an 11 seed, you are suppose to loose every game you play.
I am thinking this ISU team is higher on the talent side.
Kane, Ejim, Niang, Hogue, Morris, Long
Vs Tinsley, Rancik, Horton, Sullivan Shirley.
Tinsley was the highest scoring guy at 14.3 points a game, it was a wonder that team did as well as it did really. Their defense was better, but offensively the could have some clunkers
I guess if you look at what Hoibergs teams have done in their first round of NCAA games the past 2 years, the game might not be close. The blew out UCONN 2 years ago and Notre Dame last year. The games were not even competitive
I think the line reflects the fact that ISU did not blow anyone out in the Big 12 with maybe the exception of Baylor early in the season. People see them as allow teams to stick around.
Guess will see
But defense matters a lot in a tourney like this teams that go far are usually ones with decent defense. That is a reason I am not sold on duke doing much and will probably have them on an early exit in at least one bracket.

Can you explain to me how exactly a team loosens a game. I know the Iowa team could sure use some loosening up but I'm not sure how a team can loosen a game. Thanks in advance.
Don't have another thread saying that Creighton, they of the 126th ranked defense, is your pick to win it all?
ISU could make the elite 8, but odds are one of their slow starts will come back to bite them in the tournament.
