Iowa QB situation

Petras with his cannon arm has been all about potential. This year potential must equal ability on the field. If it does we will be in good shape. His lapses have to be shorter and he needs to play with more urgency. Unless Hogan is great in the spring and Petras struggles there will be no QB controversy. At least not with the coaches.

I think Petras will really develop this off season. He will be a more mobile version of Stanley as a senior.

That makes sense to me. Now has spring + summer conditioning + Fall camp, and a Big Ten season to build on.
