Have you ever considered that maybe there's a fundamental problem with college basketball officiating?

Or do you really think that fans complaining about terrible officiating day after day is random?

Sure, some fans complain no matter what, but there is an objective problem with college basketball officiating. There is no consistency across officiating crews and even within crews themselves.

I'm not so sure we shouldn't be number 2 or 3 in the country right now.
I'd go 1. Oklahoma 2. North Carolina (though loss to UNI, ew) 3. Iowa

I watched the game and honestly ignore officiating. In the end it will be the play of the players that decide the game. Teams have to adjust to officiating. Great win by Iowa!!


You and and tskirius can keep beating the officiating drum, I personally will enjoy the play of the game.

The second half felt like we we're going to meltdown. The crowd played into that. Past teams, that game at least gets under 5. Even with our mistakes it was still never in doubt. This team has grown up so much and it's awesome.

Yes, there is an issue with officiating.......however do not go conspiracy on me.
 
May have spoken too soon on nova. Iowa ranked 4th next week? 5th?

Beat Maryland and NW...ranked 2nd? 1st?!?!?!?!

Gesell play at the end was very sketchy lucky we had a large lead if not who knows how this game would have went..

My entire point is that the officiating makes the game unenjoyable. From both perspectives of both teams.
 
I'm just going to assume Mike's still in pain and we'll be fine. I think we're better than Maryland and if it plays out like that we'll win. We have the best player in that game (yes, Uthoff is better than Trimble at college basketball)
