OSU is #1 in Kenpom through yesterday's games...Sunday is just another day in the life of a Big 10 basketball team. Here's what Iowa will have faced away from home (road or neutral) per Kenpom (as of today) after Sunday.

#1 Ohio State
#5 Wisconsin
#8 Villanova
#11 Iowa State
#27 Xavier

Let's not overreact if Iowa loses Sunday. I know it's tough to take but brighter days are ahead...and our current Kenpom ranking of #12 is probably about right relative to that schedule and the scores of these games...none of which were at home.

Below is Iowa State's away from home schedule for the entire season per Kenpom...only listing top 50 teams.

#10 Oklahoma State
#14 Kansas
#32 Baylor
#42 Kansas State

I'm not saying Iowa State isn't good. I'm saying there's no way of knowing how good with this schedule until the NCAA Tournament.

How about the game tomorrow night against Northwestern? I sure in the heck hope this team does not look ahead to Sunday.

Im wondering what this info has to do with Sunday's game at Ohio State, which according to your thread title, is what this thread is about.

I like our Football schedule a bit better in 2014 :) That puppy is a cake walk. We can beat Ohio State Sunday, watching them last night gave me a great deal of hope. They are going to have a tough time with our depth.

Can't wait to see craft in the officials ears at every stoppage. We will probably lose to OSU sunday. I would love to see us blow out these teams the second time around at home.

I opened this thread to say just this. This Iowa team is not good enough to overlook anyone in the B10.

Actually yes, NW is unbelievably bad. We could not watch 1 minute of tape on them and win easy. I know the coaches are not overlooking anyone, but NW is that bad this year. Plus, we're home

Interesting stats on shooting percentages:

Ohio St.
FG pct - 47.0%
FT pct - 68.6%
3-pt FG pct - 34.2%

Iowa
FG pct - 47.0%
FT pct - 71.7%
3-pt FG pct - 37.1%

I expect to see a low scoring game on Sunday, maybe in the low to mid 50's, with the refs letting them play. OSU will have the definite advantage at home, but I think this will be a very close and exciting game.

I'll set the over under at 2 on how many fouls Craft ends up with. I'll also set the over under at 30 for how many fouls he actually commits.

It is an interesting aside. Some may find it of interest. I looked it up because I was interested and figured I would share.
