Iowa plays at #1 OSU Sunday

Marble is going to have to play 37 or 38 minutes. Take him out once per half about a minute before one of the TV timeouts to grab him a little extra rest. The Hawks are off until next Sunday after the OSU game so let it all hang out in Columbus Sunday.

Worst case scenario is Iowa loses and they are at 2-2 in the B1G with 3 very winnable games (Minny, @Michigan and @NU) coming up before MSU comes to Carver.

Iowa's next 12 games are very winnable. Play great basketball during that stretch and we could have a very long winning streak. This team's capable of it too (that said, I'd be satisfied with something like 8-4 during that stretch. We'd practically be a lock for the tournament at that point.)

Iowa is a lock for the tourney barring an epic collapse, like a 6-12 or 7-11 B1G record.
 
Considering the fact that you don't know what the bubble's going to be like (granted, it's probably going to be bad as it has been every year since expanding to 68 teams) I'd rather not screw around with it. I wouldn't feel safe with only 8 wins unless they are over the right teams.

I think we all saw who the soft team was last month. December 13th to be exact. The defintion of soft was on full display really. Yeah I guess the #1 RPI conference in the nation is soft. Ignorance is bliss!

lulz at anyone who uses RPI to support their argument, especially 2-3 games into conference play. The Mountain West had the #1 RPI as a conference last year. I suppose that means it was the toughest conference.

I know meat prolly wont like this but I don't think he should start the thread for the big game this weekend.

Sorry broham sammich..I'm just tired of these heart breaking losses. Forgive me but Im ready to sacrifice a chicken..

I think all Hawk fans know that if we are anywhere near the ol bub on Selection Sunday, we are OUT.
Lets not go there......
 
This game is getting bigger and bigger. This would be a sweet win in more ways that 5. Even bigger than beating WI IMO.

Clemmons' ball-handling is really a mess. I was at CHA last night and there was a little non-money wager going on in our NN section how long it would take Clemmons to throw the ball away once he came in. I think it was like a minute or something.

OSU by 10....probably our worst league loss this season.
