I just read that about DJK being a late qualifier. Didn't realize that. So Iowa will fill all available scholarships, and bump one recruit if he does qualify? I know its not like we're Bama, and over sign players. I just wondered how they would determine who gets the short end of the stick if hendrick qualifies. Maybe the staff is just counting on natural attrition? Is this a situation that comes up more than I know about? Or does the staff typically still have an open scholarship at that point in the recruiting process? Just trying to understand the particulars of these situations. What does Bama do if they over sign by double and they don't have enough (injuries, arrests, leave for nfl, flunking out of classes, etc.) players leave the program. Do they cut a player who hasn't produced. Or do they cut an incoming recruit. Can you cut a player with no troubles or injuries etc.?
