If he does, he would avoid one of the previous guy's big mistakes.

I think the reason is because Iowa wants him at the 4 position and he is dead set on playing the 3. I bet when Iowa said we are recruiting you at the 4, he said goodbye.

I like this current staff and think that once they have had time to establish themselves on the recruiting front, they are going to start reeling in the recruits that we expect (and hardly ever get) around here.

I would not be surprised if that was the case, this staff is not afraid to cool off on kids if they don't seem to be looking like they are worth the trouble.

It said SOME schools went away but that he was STILL considering Iowa. So I am guessing they weren't one of them.

I think Iowa's big needs are a PG and an athletic forward. How athletic is the kid?

Maybe we need an unbiased 3rd party here.

My take was that they have since started to focus on other players. It is December now, and he claimed he was considering Iowa in Aug. Furthermore, by all reports he is a finesse big and in my opinion we need a 'banger-type' big.
