Indiana: Hey, nobody really expected Iowa to win anyway. That the Hawks were able to keep it close and make Indiana sweat a little bit meant the Hawks can play with anyone! Tom Crean said nice things about the CHA crowd on Twitter!

Michigan State: Hey, when your leading scorer can't go and you only lose by 3 to a top 25 team, you can't complain, right? Surely Marble is worth 4 points somewhere, so it's obvious Iowa only lost because he didn't play.

Ohio State: Down 24 in the 2nd half to to a top 20 team? No problem for this Iowa squad, who managed to get the deficit down to 4 in the final 90 seconds. If it wasn't for dreadful shooting from the foul line, Iowa probably wins this game as well. But hey, they got it close and that has to count for something, right?

Purdue: Score 16 points in the first half, but battled back from an 11 point deficit to take the lead going into the final minute, but a defensive breakdown lets Purdue score the basket that send the game into overtime. Aaron White bricks a couple free throws in the extra period that would have tied it, and Iowa ends up losing a game they probably (in reality) had no business winning. But hey, they played better in the 2nd half! Moral Victory!

Guh.

This would make sense if people were actually happy with the results in these games

But they arent, so it doesnt
