Iowa is playing in Vegas next Thanksgiving

I haven't been to a game in Vegas. Will those wonderful people be handing out players cards outside the arena before and after the game?
 
My apologies for not attending this year. Wife's scheduled for baby #3 earlier in the week. Trying to stay out of the dog house.
 
I was fully planning to attend this prior to the offseason. Losing 4 starters and Baer makes me not want to spend a grand or more to watch Iowa get blown out both games.

They won't get blown out if they adopt their "new" defensive attitude, injected with some PG quickness and overall buy-in of the defensive changes.

Haha, well I sure as hell hope they do, but I'll believe they have a new defensive attitude when I see it.

remember when OR and UConn were gonna dismantle Iowa last season in the exempt? Good times.

The main difference being we had returned practically everyone on that team whereas we just lost 80% of our scoring for the upcoming season.

oh and I see the difference obviously. I am just saying, NO ONE gave us a shot in that tournament. It's hard to predict how a college basketball game is going to go in August. Creighton aint all that. Iowa loses a lot of scoring but they return Garza and Joe - those 2 pieces are going to make them at least competitive imo.

This year, Iowa lost ZERO of its shut down, in your face, high energy defenders from last season.

For the best Vegas flights drive up to Sioux Falls and fly Allegiant. It’s a shit airline but you’ll get there cheap.

Parking in SF airport is a little spendy but I know a couple guys.

You are not understanding the whole beauty or point of going to this tourney as opposed to other ones. It is the activities in that city you can do before or after the games that make it enticing.

There is absolutely nothing on Earth that is more rewarding than watching your baby being born

One minute the little one isn' t there

The next she is alive and well, waiting for a slap on the buns

I acutally assisted with my daughter Kate's birth. She was an extremely difficult birth coming out head first with the doctor and nurse using both hands when her mother's foot slipped off the stirrup. The doctor and nurse looked at each other with a somewhat panicked expression

I grabbed her foot and placed it on the stirrup. The doctor said: Thank you and then Katy showed up for all to see

This is baby number 3 and scheduled C-Section. Nothing like walking into an operating room and being told by the nurse escorting you in that your probably not going to want to look up until you get to the other side of the curtain where her head is. Didn't peak the first two not going to peak this time lol. You're right though, it's a moment you never forget.
