Iowa is a 3 point favorite over #7 Minny

I agree with you that they need to open things up. When they went up tempo it was like they got into a rhythm that way. I don’t know if you noticed but we are starting to employ some spread in our offense. I hope they just keep evolving in that direction. We are a better passing team than a running team. I’ve been saying all along we need to use the pass to open up the running game. I don’t know why they are just so stubborn and conservative.
We all would like the Hawks to open up the playbook a bit. Keep in mind Kirk is conservative, and for us to think he will come up with some wild game plan to pass all over Minnesota is foolish. He's going to do what he always does and try to run the ball and hope Minny makes some mistakes and we capitalize. On the other hand, I think Minnesota will throw it all over the field and only run when it's early in downs and short yardage.

WATCH THIS.

The guy dresses like a douche bag and acts like a douche bag on the sidelines. But, I will say, 5 minutes into this press conference, the guy has more fire in his career right now compared to Kirk. Young and hungry. But, I suppose, 9-0 can do that for you.

Open up the O and run Toren Young is how we win Saturday. D keep doing what you are doing (might need you to score however)

They seemed to get away from Toren Young as the game went on against Wisconsin. Not sure why, he was doing really well.

Another interesting thing he PF said, "I don't believe in bend, don't break. I just don't. I want to stop them."

That would be a nice philosophy to have at the end of games for our defense needing to make a stop when we usually can't.

I never heard Iowa's coaches say that was their philosophy. I never heard Phil say it. The media says it.

Does anyone have any confidence at all that Iowa will win this game?

I haven't been confident in Iowa winning any game since a 3 week stretch in 2016 that saw the Hawkeyes lose to an FCS team at home, struggle to beat Rutgers by 7 on the road, & then lose to Northwestern at home. That ended any confidence I've ever had and I'll have to see something very different to change. And since 2016 this pretty much looks like the same program to me. So I'm happy anytime Iowa gets a win.

Maybe they catch Minnesota sleeping? But I've seen Minnesota at their best and I highly doubt Iowa's D will be able to handle that and/or Iowa's offense keeping up with them.

Plus Kinnick is not a hard place for visiting teams to get a win. Iowa has lost 2 home games each of the last 3 seasons and has already lost 1 this year.

No, but would not be shocked if they won by 3 TDs either. Cause that is what is so maddening about this whole Iowa era.

?? When's the last time we scored 3 TD's? With the win over Penn St. [which we failed to do] I blv Minny is for real. If the co aches maintain the status quo and unless Iowa opens it up and/or the defense holds the Gophers offense down, I think the score is lopsided in favor of the northerners: 30--10.

Still hanging on to a top 25 rating. Get more positive reviews from polls than from Team Caddy, etc.
Team bootlicker has spoken. Keep defending KF. You must love mediocrity, and I'm not quite sure how you continue to defend this crap when you can clearly see the stats, which don't lie as to how bad this program is in conference play.
