Iowa has not lost back to back games all sesaon!

Up till Saturday, Hawks were 8-0 in weekend afternoon games. That streak is now broken. Hope the "no back to back loss" and "no loss to non-top 25 teams" streaks carry more cosmic weight and Hawks can right the ship.

I'm losing confidence and think the team is what it is. As posted earlier this week, the Hawks are "sideways."
-- From F-Mac down, they are unable to tune out criticisms and distractions and emotional overreactions / mental breakdowns get the best of them.
-- At this time of the season, depth is supposed to be a strength. Unfortunately, it's diluted the collective potential of the team and is just as likely to be a liability when performance is discounted and quantity is misperceived as quality. Last I checked, you don't get spotted any points because your a hard-working senior, with experience, and you give a gritty effort. Intangibles make clever cliches and cute conversation but that aren't worth a **** if they don't result in baskets.
-- AW has been m.i.a. since January.

They are going to lose at Minny. It's 50/50 if they lose at Indy. They will beat Purdue, lose at MSU and sweep Illannoy.

A weak finish to a promising regular season. At this point, Nebraska has a better chance at finishing 5th than Iowa.

Here's to regrouping for the tournaments.

My $0.02 says that in the Goofers' eyes, the Hawkeyes have a big bullseye on their backs as a quality win to pick up. I would like to see our boys come out with some grit, forget the off the court trash that's been transpiring, and mop the floor with em to the tune of bout 15-20 on their home floor. Wouldn't mind seeing McCabe drill 3 treys tonite either. Kid is in slump and needs a little bit of shaking it off. Oglesthree got through it, so can Zach. BEAT THE GOOFERS TONITE!!!

Everyone is so focused on their own navel-gazing. Has anyone been on the Minnesota fan pages to see what they are thinking about this game? Are they even paying attention to the intramurals happening down here?

Will that streak continue tonight? I think Iowa comes out focused. Tough loss Saturday, a lot to prove after that loss, going after win #20, seem to play better on the road, kind of a bad PR week. I think it sets up for a let down, but I feel Fran will have them focused!

I predict that we will not lose back to back games in the NCAA tournament

Well when I started this thread, I figured Iowa would actually play defense and Minnesota would not be video game hot. Effing ridiculous!!!

And he hasn't missed a free throw all night. Thanks for nothing, Forever Hawk!!! This is on you. No pressure.

Excuse me, but Mr. Forever Hawk - you owe all of us big fat apology (to paraphrase Mr. McCabe).
