I don't know who to credit...but the promotional videos for Iowa Football have taken huge leaps in the past few years. Great stuff!

They eat very well. I wonder what the food budget is for the team? I think 8,000 to 10,000 calories a day is pretty common for them.

1) That smoothbag is pretty cool & nifty to set up. Better than a air mattress as far as time to inflate & take down & store. Probably is pretty comfortable as well.
2) I see the official size practice field had a yellow Tiger Hawk at the 50. As I understand, the fields in the practice facility and the outside field are supposed to be exact replicas to the field in Kinnick. So, is Kinnick going to have the Tiger Hawk at mid field now? Did they finally decide to put one at the 50? Did I miss something?

I think I saw somewhere that Iowa's food bill was 2.1 million or something last year. I Dont know if that is for all athletes, or just football.

No, not this year. Barta did say something during media days that it could happen when the turf in Kinnick needs to be replaced. I'm not sure how often field turf needs to be replaced but I thought I read somewhere that the NFL requires every 10 years, not sure if that is a standard. Anyway the mid field tiger hawk needs to happen.
