Iowa at Oregon: Sunday afternoon 4 p.m. ESPNU

Wow. One day to play first game then 5 days until the next one. I guess this is a good thing for us.

How in the hell didn't Oregon get into the NCAA Tourney?
Beating LSU gave them 23 wins. How can the tourney turn away a 22 win team from a major conference?

If I'm not mistaken, Washington the was the PAC 12 regular season champion and didn't even get invited to the NCAAs.

PAC 12 was way down this year. Not much respect nationally for that conference in BB.

That is one butt-ugly basketball floor. Looks like what downtown Iowa City merchants find on their sidewalks the morning after busy Saturday nights. How does the NCAA even allow that?

Maybe Barta could get the Corn Growers to sponsor a re-painting of the CHA floor to look like a cornfield.

Good grief.

What is it that makes the Pac-12 so bad? I mean, I'm looking at their top teams and it's not like they are loaded with bad, bad losses. The bottom half is brutal but I see nothing that really sticks out.

The Pac 12 had a brutal non-conference record. As a league they were 1-33 vs top 50 RPI teams...ouch. From what I have seen of them this weekend and tonite they look very good. Lot of athletes on both Oregon and Washington. Same with Colorado.

I think they are young, and as one analyst said about Washington...they underachieved,as they have loads of talent.

looks like Oregon will probably have a good crowd there too. Gonna be a tough one considering we don't play well on the road.

Colorado goes from like 7th in the big 12 to pac12 champ, that's all you need to know about the pac12 this year.
