Injuries Mounting

How serious is whites injury??

It got worse as the game went on, tightened up over half. He said it was a pretty bad thumb sprain. He was able to play through it early on but as it tighten up it was harder to play with.

Hopefully some rest will help, but sprains are never easy. We've seen what a nagging thumb injury can do to Matt Gatens.

I cant remember, was Gatens on his shooting or non-shooting hand?

Eric May suffered a serious manhood injury last night.

I feel bad for May as its pretty obvious his injury is hampering him or his confidence is just shot, or both.

When he got posterized and had no frickin clue where the ball was, I actually laughed out loud.

Unfortunately there aren't many options left for scoring help. McCabe and Basabe seem locked into 4 fouls and 4 points mode, Oglesby is scuffling a bit, and that's about it for healthy contributing bodies. It couldn't come at a worse time because NW will put up points on Saturday and with key contributors dinged up, I don't like our odds in a shootout unless Gatens can channel Jimmer again.

Injuries happen. Just have to toughen up and play thru the minor owies.

Northwestern is a big game this weekend. Win and we play in the NIT
