Yes. I too want to taste glory. We have been so close that I believe that I actually know what it tastes like. I absolutely condone the coaches and players striving for better. They are the competitors. If they ever stop trying to achieve more than our ship is sank. I'm even for fans being ravenous in the desire for winning championships. I understand disappointment. I understand frustration about plays left on the field that kept us from keeping the light of hope alive.

What I don't understand or relate to is the "either your first or your last" complex that sections of every fan base has. I don't understand temper tantrums about young men that we don't even know, not being good enough. I don't understand bashing a coaching staff that almost always has us in a position to seize an opportunity to be great. These are things that I just don't understand.
Well said.

MSU wasn't on my list. Their fan base had no delusions of winning the East coming into the season.
Well I may delusional but the season isn't over!!
We could still win the b10. We are far from mathematically out of it.

Lol we are fans we all have a fair amount of delusions from time to time, and yes we still have a chance. It just isn't very likely. Had we beat Wisconsin it would have actually been likely.

The 3 games Purdue lost were by 4, 1, & 3 points. Their total points scored/pts given up is 113 to 104 in 4 games.
Purdue's SOS: 39th

Nubby's total points scored/pts given up is 57 to 113 in 3 games.
Nubby's SOS: 33rd

I'm thinking Nubby loses by 3 touchdowns.
Well, I wasn't that far off.

As they say, be careful of what you wish for. Those damn bugeater fans who ran Solich and Pelini out of town on a rail have no one to blame but themselves for Callahan and Riley.

UCLA is a surfer school, enuf said.

Half Moon Bay the little town where the residents took all the road signs down so they wouldn't have to deal with tourists or sightseers.....

Use to spend a lot of time there a long time ago. Friends had a place right on the bay. Cool town.....

Right, Bolinas, North of San Francisco. Thanks. I never noticed a lot of surfing around Bolinas, perhaps a bit too chilly there. Memory from those days is a bit foggy just like San Francisco. We used to walk around the hills of the City at night watching the fog roll in and listen to the fog horns in the Bay.....

We better watch the turnovers against Indiana and every other game. They did well to stay with Ohio State for 3 quarters. Very tough place to play.....

"Its 56-10 loss to Michigan was the worst beatdown in Nebraska history since July 27, 1804, when, according to the journal of Lewis & Clark, the explorers were run out of their campsite near future Omaha by "a thick and troublesome" cloud of mosquitoes. 'Twas the 19th century ancestor of Cornhusker postgame call-in shows."

Excellent.....

Bringing Louis and Clark into a football thread.....

And mosquitoes.....

In other news Tua Tagovailoa has 18 TDs and only 25 incompletions. That is unbelievable!

... and the mighty "Bug Eaters" were formed in the annals of history.
