Scott Frost appears now to be making and drinking the Koolaid. After getting their butts destroyed by Michigan...it takes some balls to say anything about your next opponent...especially one that just upset a top 25 team.

Purdue is a tough out right now.

"Its 56-10 loss to Michigan was the worst beatdown in Nebraska history since July 27, 1804, when, according to the journal of Lewis & Clark, the explorers were run out of their campsite near future Omaha by "a thick and troublesome" cloud of mosquitoes. 'Twas the 19th century ancestor of Cornhusker postgame call-in shows."

They were starving as it had been a long cold winter.
They had exhausted their meat supply and had even eaten the horses. They tried to tell other people passing by, headed out West that they come from a line of blue bloods, that they were prominent.
But their efforts were futile and their best women left with the travelers. Thus the saying "behind every tree in Nebraska, there is a pretty woman" was born.
So starving and left with no women, they resorted to ungodly acts, which culminated in eating previously mentioned mosquitoes. Thus becoming the bugeaters.

Here's another good one from Bill Moos. I bet Harbaugh loved this.

“You’ve got Urban Meyer and Jim Harbaugh thinking, ‘We better put a little more into that Nebraska game coming up.’ And that’s the way we want it. They’re running a little bit scared right now. And they won’t admit it. We’ll leave that at that.” Bill Moos

Man...do they wonder why everyone hates them and laughs at how delusional they are? Watch...they will come into Kinnick this year talking about how Iowa doesn't belong on the field with them. They will be 3-8 at the time.

Everyone in the Stadium going crazy over their pregame video on the big board...and they lose to Colorado and Troy. LOL. That's freaking funny. Troy beat them at home. LOL. I honestly can't stop laughing right now.

True, but Bowlsby didn't start blazing his guns about how Michigan and Ohio State should have some trepidation when preparing for Nebraska or whatever it was that their AD said. Tom Vilsack didn't declare "Kirk Ferentz Day" for game one of the regime.

Frosr will turn it around. But there are other ways of stirring up fan interest other than how they did it. Self annointing before coaching one game in the conference doesn't quite fly. We knew how bad that team was at the end of last year, especially from a physical standpoint. That's why people are taking joy in Nebraska's pain right now.
I beg to differ with Frost turning it around. There program is not in the shape Nebraska fans are putting it out to be. They had top recruiting classes within the B1G, and Riley was winning games. I said when he was hired that Scott's teams give up over 456 yds per game, and their philosophy is we will outscore you. That will not work in the B1G, PERIOD. Teams will dominate the line of scrimmage and turn drives into quarter burning scores...you can't outscore someone giving up that many yards to inferior teams like he played at UCF. Scott is going to have change or he will be gone too!

The posters who are clowning on Frost and Kelly are probably the same posters who were so confident that Iowa was going to beat Wisconsin last Saturday because Wisconsin's OL wasn't playing as well as they should and their D had lost too much from 2018. We all saw how that turned out.

Frost & Kelly both recruit well and run offenses kids want to play in. UCLA is a sleeping giant. Nebraska doesn't look good but they've played a tough schedule. Iowa would be 1-2 at best playing that slate.

WHAT tough schedule Nebraska...seriously man. I literally spit my water half across the room. That is laughable...

What was Iowa's class rankings 4 years prior to KF?
What was Nebraska's prior to SF?
Wonder what UCLA's were.

From 247Sports.com:

2018 - Nebraska #23, UCLA #19 (Iowa #39)
2017 - Nebraska #28, UCLA #20 (Iowa #41)
2016 - Nebraska #26, UCLA #13 (Iowa #47)
2015 - Nebraska #30, UCLA #12 (Iowa #59)
2014 - Nebraska #35, UCLA #18 (Iowa #58)

Seems like Nebraska has gotten better in each of the past 5 years and UCLA has remained about the same. Iowa has seen a definite uptick, but still not in the top 25.

Scott Frost is now picking on Purdue ...

Realize Frost was the same guy that didn't want to make-up a game late in the year because they would be playing in the B1G championship game. Remember folks this kid went to Stanford out of HS and spurned Big Red Nation, the guy who hid in the closet during the Lawrence Phillips scandal....He is just like the rest of Husker Nation living in the 90's.

Colorado 3-0
Troy 2-1 lost at Boise St
@ Michigan 2-1 lost at ND

What’s so laughable? A good P5 team, an average P5 team with a pretty solid QB, and a good mid major team.

They better hope they handle Purdue. Their next game a week from Saturday is at Camp Randall.

I can see it now. Nebraska loses to Purdue, falls to 0-4, fans say the team was peeking ahead to Wisconsin game, where they will soon be 0-5. And the gauntlet continues after that.

Is it possible they go 0-fer this year? How grand would that be? My guess is they would steal Incarnate Word from the Cyclones for the last game of the year just so they don't finish with a goose egg.

Good point, an 0-5 start is a real possibility. That Bethune Cookman game can't get here soon enough.

I'm sorry, but we aren't losing to Colorado at home and we aren't losing to Troy at home...LOL. I would say NIU and Iowa State are better than Troy and Colorado too. You do realize before you post something so stupid, that Troy got beat by 46 by Boise State and barely beat LA Monroe this past weekend. You delusional Frost addicts will now say LA Monroe is a NC contender.

Michigan in the big house may be a tall order...but if we have shown one thing so far, it's that Jackson and Wirfs are pretty damn good at protecting the QB on the edge and would be ok against MI defensive ends. Stanley has had time to throw...and if pressure has come...it's been inside.

I will tell you one thing..Iowa wound not, and I repeat, would not give up 56 point to Michigan. Michigan would be lucky to score 20 points. Their offensive line is nothing like Wisconsin and they give up sacks like the lunch lady gives out sandwiches...all lunch long baby. Patterson would be running for his life.

Wisconsin punted on 7-10 possessions on Saturday. One of those possession they didn't was the 10 yard possession we gave them in the red zone. Our offense moved the ball up and down the field most of the night with 404 total yards. We just didn't execute well on two red zone possessions. Turnovers beat us, not the Wisconsin defense. Iowa punted only 3 times in this game.

We beat all those teams in Kinnick. No question. If we had to go out west to Colorado I might consider that a loss. The B1G never does well when traveling to the west.
