#11 for VT (Wilson) is locking down Bohannon. The only opening that Bohannon had was a shot he never took because the ball wasn't passed to him. he can't shake #11 and he can't dribble by him.
VT has defenders in position on most of these shot attempts by Iowa, except for the one possession that resulted in 2 missed 3 pt shots.So, with all of the bad shots you are noting, do you credit VT defense, or bad Iowa offense?

The holes in the roster and recruiting are obvious. And I'm not sure that any of the players committed in the next 2 classes, fill the holes that we have. We need athletic PGs/Combo guards that can handle the ball and play defense. They are not on the roster and they are not currently committed to Iowa for '18/19.
It's a guard driven game at this level.
