If you could add only one player...

If we are only going back 10 years then give me Jared Reiner. If he would have been in the lineup against Notre Dame no way Sherman scores all those points.

Haluska. Gatens would be a distant 2nd. Haluska defended very well also and in this offense, with this tempo......oh man.

He was the first person that came to mind for me too.

Me too but he could be a black hole around the rim on offense. Once he got the ball down around the rim, he would not pass it out of the post, even if he was triple teamed! He probably plays too physical for the new rules anyway. He'd foul out in a fair share of games.

Luck Recker would be good on this team, but I think he played 11 or 12 years ago.

He's outside the time frame by a season, but how would Glen Worley do with Fran as his coach? Would he have lived up to expectations a little more than he did playing for Alford?

i think it pretty much goes without saying that anyone would be better playing for Fran over that rat. in case you didn't know what i think of Steve. ;)

Guy Rucker. Blocking ability and a good mid range jumper. You can now visit him at billion honda. Kinda funny, he called my phone one day out of the blue. I was a lead from another salesman who left and turned it over to him.

Sorry. Too long ago. Wasn't paying attention. Now I'm thinking about Andre Woolridge. Could you imagine him on this current team. He never had much tslent around him anywhere in his career.

So easy for me..

That is what this teams needs and it isn't even close..

this team needs a 4 with some muscle

this

the obvious pick would be Reggie Evans, however he was not here in the last 10 years.

I'm going with Jarryd Cole or Cyrus Tate. Either of these dudes would help our post defense incredibly

We are already scoring plenty of points, now we need to keep the other team from scoring so many!

I really don't think I'd want anyone from the last ten years. I just took two bottles of date rape drugs to try to erase the memory of this horrible decade.

Reggie Evens, he was a rebounding machine.

Thats the answer I was lookin for! Reggie had that nasty tough streak this team could really use around the basket. I think Woody will come around, gotta keep workin & the refs will eventully cut him some slack, when that happens I believe he will become a different player. Things are really lookin good for our beloved Hawks, lets enjoy the ride!!

Great question to exercise the brain. I'm torn between Huluska & Bruner. On one hand, Huluska was just so good & consistent, but, this team has a lot of athletic guard/forwards. Iowa hasn't had a big bruiser or consistent player on the box for a loooong time. Licklighter couldn't recruit one & we just haven't had that consistency on the block the past years. It's been a long time where an Iowa center or P-forward just posted up knowing they were going to get the ball then make a move. For this team, I think Bruner could add the most. Horner's a push with Gessel & Marble, and again, Huluska is too similar to what this team already has. In addition, Iowa is getting blocked shots at a nice pace, so no reason for Hansen. That's a push. So, for this team add Bruner to the mix to take the team to the next level!! That's must my opinion.
