Reading through some of this made me realize that KF doesn't have much of a coaching tree like Hayden Fry did.

It's true, though not many coaches have a tree as successful as Hayden did. The fact that our successful coordinators like the Parkers have been so fiercely loyal speaks volumes about Kirk though. I'm sure Woods has had opportunities, and I think he definitely deserves consideration when Kirk does finally step down.

Woods would be one of my first choices and then hope he could convince Phil Parker to stick around.

KF just confirmed in his pressor today that he's indeed coming back next yr full steam ahead. So we can shelve this thread for another yr anyway
