If KOK was OC yesterday

So Iowa is more prolific, dynamic and more Potent with Davis as OC?? Here are the last 10 season on where Iowa ranked in Team total Offense in the country..

Team Total Offense Statistics under Davis

2012 Ranked 116th out of 124 FBS Schools
2013 Ranked 78th
2014 Ranked 69th

Team Total Offense Statistics under KOK

2011 Ranked 62nd
2010 Ranked 52nd
2009 Ranked 83rd
2008 Ranked 48th
2007 Ranked 110th
2006 Ranked 30th
2005 Ranked 24th
2004 Ranked 91st
There are 3 years you failed to account for in KOK's tenure at Iowa. As even you can see, 69th nationally, this year, is at least on par with most of KOK's offenses. Here's even more to consider: offenses of 2014 are on average so much more complex and productive than offenses of 2004, wouldn't you say? Compare the production of 2004's 69th place nationally with 2014's 69th place nationally.

I used ESPN because it gives 10 year data. I don't feel like digging any deeper go right ahead. It won't change anything. Greg Davis = SUCKS!! That is a fact..

Yet you assert that Davis is more potent and prolific.. :)

Potent means more ways to score and prolific means being able to produce more plays that gain bigger chunks of yardage on offense, so Yes, I'm right on both counts when comparing GD's offense to KOK's offense.

Prove it.. I've seen some pretty good stuff during KOK days.. Much better than what I've seen from Davis to date and also I would becareful boasting your right because based on the Factual information I presented you that doesn't look to be right. :)

doesn't matter, kirk still would have shut it down in the 3rd quarter and would have lost the game.
I agree, KF put this season's offense in a bind with his choice of Rudock. Which put Iowa's season in a bind since KF is a conservative coach who prefers to win with game manager's offense and dominant defense and the defense wasn't dominant this season. Side note: lacking a dominant defense IS the reason why Iowa hasn't been relevant for so long. Heck, the back 7 on defense wasn't even, IMO, serviceable. IMO, Iowa had to rely on the ****** GD offense to win games this season.

From Miller's article today on Playmaker's. Exact reason I'm not sure you are right and said what I said above,

Since Ken O’Keefe resigned, Iowa has stopped attacking vertically with any regularity. Even with O’Keefe, Iowa ranked 16th in the nation in yards per pass attempt in 2010 but never better than 33rd in any season since 2003.

Completely laughable..

OK, HawkP40, take a look at the colorful chart of Jon's you just put up. How many total yards per game did GD's offense average this season? Answer:398.1.

Using Jon's colorful table, only 3 seasons out of 13 did KOK's offense do better than GD's this season:
2001 - 398.5 oh so similar, 2002 - 424.5, and 2005 - 426.3. Jon's table proves my points. Not yours.

See that is where your wrong, very wrong. It's much deeper than that Homer. The schedule this season was the worst we've seen in ummm EVER!. :)

That chart also shows that during the Davis Era Iowa Offense has been below average in every category except for YDS/ATT and Rank for the 2014 season. It's been pitiful. Seriously I'm done debating this with you.. You are one of the few that think Davis is doing a good job and nothing I say or do will change your thought process. Pretty astonishing but hey to each his own.

Jake would perform better in KOK's scheme. GD's scheme needs someone to make quick decisions with a strong arm to allow the WR's to have a chance to break tackles and get YAC. When Jake is in he hesitates and doesn't have enough zip on the ball. Zero YAC = zero success in GD's scheme. Both Jake and CJ would have excelled under KOK.....As long as the run game is firing on all cylinders.
