Idiocy Knows No Bounds...

So Heather Dimwit of ESPN says ND is already in, blah blah blah. She also does the "schedule dance" without actually mentioning Iowa by name.

But what has her absolute BEST--and thus, most idiotic--line of reasoning been thus far? And bear in mind, we have a few more weeks of this "brilliance.

I'll tell ya: the other night, she talked about MSU still having a chance. How? Winning out the regular season (of course), and then? Beating an UNBEATEN and RANKED Iowa team. But, what of Iowa's chances? Nil. Zip. Not a word. Other than our remaining schedule being "weak", of course.

Some folks just don't want Iowa in the mix. Good for them. It's their First Amendment right, and all that. But at least they could ATTEMPT to possess SOME shred of actual logic, given that impartiality will never be at the forefront of what they deem "important". You can't degrade Iowa's schedule-to-date, THEN harp on the remaining schedule...and THEN use an "undefeated and ranked" Iowa team as someone else's springboard, can you?

Unless, of course, you're Heather Dimwit...or Colin CowNerd...or Paul FineBought...

Just let the hate speech fuel the team. It's not going to change unless we keep winning and I'm fine with it.

Come up with more fake names!!!

I read her post this morning about how Iowa could doom the B1G if we go 13-0 because then the Big Ten would not have a team in the College Football playoffs. Does ESPN have editors read this garbage prior to posting? Do these people have a post middle school education? Seems unlikely!

repeat after me:

It's O.K.

We lost to Western Michigan in 2007. There is no way we should be in the conversation for the CFP this year.

I see what you did there.

Yeah... dude nailed it. Heather Dinich is just about worthless. It's at least less insulting when she says things like that because I know that she knows absolutely nothing. It's when the talking heads who should know better parrot it as well.

Exactly this....she just shows her incompetence... Not sure why they have her on...the other idiotic female is on BTN...regardless, I pretty much don't think either of them carry much weight with most any real college football fan...not gonna worry about what she spits out.

Like everyone says, let it all play out. If we win out, we are in. If we don't, we don't deserve to be in. Period. Because the playoffs don't start in December, they already began. Right now we are in the thick of it with a handful of other teams that have a prayer to make it.

I think we should embrace it all though instead of getting upset about it. The more they disrespect us the more they talk about us. I love the fact that we are the talk of the college football world right now.

Because, we could be like North Carolina. They are actually pretty good and even though they have played a terrible schedule, they will not be a pushover for Clemson. And nobody is talking about them, nobody is giving them a chance to beat Clemson in the ACC championship game. That is the ultimate disrespect, giving the nod to Clemson like they don't have to play in the championship game. Go ahead, read about it. If its even mentioned its just a foregone conclusion that they win. On a sidenote, that game sets up as a classic upset, and I am talking in monstrous proportions. Like blowout. Don't be surprised.

I'm with you on this. Clemson is gonna go down, besides that Dabo reminds me of Paw!

Heather.......honey, just because you spent your high school and college years on your back, underneath football players, doesn't make you an expert on football. They were running an entirely different kind of game on you.

Well, they certainly didn't hire her for her looks.

Not crazy about the sexist undertones in some of the above posts. Cut it out. It offends my daughter and my 3 grand daughters. And, therefore, it offends me.
