I Think He's Going.

I don't know why, but I think KF will be going to Kansas City this year. I think it is one of the "right fits" he may be looking for. I'm not sold that Jame's last year at Iowa will keep him this time. I think he wins his argument over his wife this time & wins. I just think he goes.

This one sets up nice for Ferentz. There's no doubt about that. I think Chiefs would have to offer in the mid 4' to high 4's though.

I would think at some time the sleaze of big time college recruiting would get to an honest and fair man like KF. With pros you get another set of problems but at least the coach doesnt get blamed if they break the law. But then again maybe that is why he doesnt go after many or hardly any 5 star recruits.

Given his current contract I doubt money is the reason he leaves. I just dont see it happening....I dont think he would like the stress/scrutiny. The scrutiny he gets at Iowa is nothing compared to the NFL

He would get more scrutiny but is the scrutiny in Kansas City really that bad?

5 star recruits break the law at a higher rate? Doubtful. It's the 2-4 star players that are usually knocked down a step or two because of low grades and/or issues with the law before even getting to college.

I bet 95%+ of the felony/drug related crimes commited by college athletes on BCS football teams are committed by skill position players whom are 2-3 star athletes according to Rivals.com

And this would likely be the case because there are a lot of 2-3 star players.

Does it make sense that the majority of skill position players are 2-3 star athletes? How many 5"s are there compared with 2-3 star?

This is how I see it. KF gets enough flak in IC.....

He certainly doesn't need any more money.....

Honestly I dont know...but Todd Haley did get fired less than one year after winning the division with 10 wins

This is what makes me even more nervous. I don't think you fire Haley at 5-8 with the very unfortunate injuries and winning the division last year unless you have replacement locked up.

Haley and Pioli have never seen eye to eye, its well documented

Have you seen how annoyed KF gets at pressers if anyone asks him anything that isnt a softball? Unless its his life goal to be an NFL coach (none of us know that) then I think he stays.

Nope, he knows he can't hack it in the NFL and wouldn't last two years. Meantime, no one can touch him here while he chews gum and writes in his notebook, and gets even richer.
