I remember when I had my first beer

My grandfather was a drunk. As a result my mom wasnt functional. When her brother was arrested for drunk driving and evading police in front of the g parents home on Christmas. Grandma was bawli g as they cuffed him as we watched out the door. She grabbed me by the neck and lifted me off the ground and screamed that if I ever started drinking she'd kill me. A year later my uncle ran over me with a motorcycle while drunk. Hurt like hell.

I dont drink though grandma died young.

Post College - Milwaukee's Best and later it was IPAs, then I quit. I didn't have all I wanted, I just had all I could stand.

You had all you could stand because you were drinking the Best! Man, your standards dropped post-college?

We drank a lot of the Best in college because it was the cheapest, and my friends were the "after 5 or 6 you won't taste it anyway" type.

That day, I drank too much beer for the first time and threw up while getting laid for the first time. So I then smoked a joint for the first time to calm my upset stomach.

Was that the same day you first dropped acid?

I was curious when my Dad was enjoying a beer after work one evening so he poured a small glass and told me to try it. I think I was 7 or 8 at that time. I hated it, couldn't understand how adults could like it.

Pretty sure it was Schlitz, as that's mostly what Dad drank. Although it may have been Hamm's. That probably dates me.

Mom let me try some when I was probably 4 or 5. Didn't like it, but I also didn't spit it out. I got enough whippins, I knew not to waste beer.

My first taste was dad's Olympia. First full beer 16 sitting in the local hangout parking lot across form the mall in Mason City. I was sitting in my buddies 69 Super Bee drinking a Mills best when lord behold a cop car comes up behind and I got to experience my first possession also. We didn't know the police sat on top of the J.C. Penny store with binoculars watching us. Barney hauled me in and got his pat on the back for his great efforts to snuff out crime in Mason City Iowa.

how many of you have done a beer bong? It's not easy. I doubt I could do one today.

I did a 3-beer bong on spring break at a Senor Frog's in Puerto Vallerta Mexico, it had to be filled from the balcony above. I bet I could still do it now better than I did back then!

Hy-Vee had this generic beer they stocked. My uncle was a meat cutter there and always had this at his house. No crap. White can with black letters.

first taste of beer - probably 8 when I thought my dad's beer was a can of mt. dew, not a pleasant surprise.

go to beer in high school - busch light because it tasted the least like beer, therefore I could chug it like a boss.

go to college beer - corona although I usually stuck with stuff that'd get you drunk fast in college. Long islands are good for that.

My dad would always be working in the garage or on our car. He'd have me run in to "Get me another one." When he'd be under the car, I'd take it off the bench and take a couple sips/swigs of it. He come back up and sometimes half his can would be gone. Old Milwaukee regular. I liked the taste. Still do. First time with my boys was prob when 13 or 14 had a "campout" down by the river. First time probably drunk. Not smart as also racing our mopeds thru the woods.
