I Like Tim Tebow

I never followed Tebow in college but couldn't get away from hearing about him as that's all CBS / ESPN did it seem, report on him. Over exposure to say the least. I didn't have a favorable impression as I felt he was being forced down our throats.

Living in Denver and hearing / seeing all the media coverage it's over the top. That being said the kid is winning me over. He ain't pretty passing the ball and I actually laugh sometimes when he throws it way off mark. But damn, the guy wins. He's a truly a good guy and I wish him the best.

You know the Ironic thing is, the haters get Tebow more publicity than anyone else. I, or anyone else who knows football, understood Tebow would need time if he were ever to be a good QB. We knew he had a lot of work to do and there were no guarantees.

Still you had all these people screaming HE'S NEVER GONNA BE AN NFL QB!. Who are they arguing with? It's almost like they are arguing with themselves.

Good grief folks, did any of you actually watch the game? Outside that final drive Tebow looked AWFUL, he has to be one of the worst QBs I have ever seen play the position. Wide receivers were diving everywhere trying to catch his passes as he was throwing them into the ground.

As far as all that kneeling and praying he is doing, it is a big show. I think it is pathetic he takes every chance to kneel like he is praying every time the cameras are on him. Hopefully God has better things to do than help Tebow win football games.
:D:D:D:D:D:DKeep it up. You're making my day!:D:D:D:D:D

My favorite thing about Tebow is watching others get all ****** off about him and his game. "He's a terrible QB. He can't throw." Both true, but he wins. Why get all mad about it?
"He's in your face with his faith." Really? Did you freak out when other athletes tapped their chest and pointed to the sky when they stood at home plate or after a base hit?
He kneels on the sideline. On the SIDELINE........and you're still staring at him?
Would I want him as my QB? No way. I do enjoy watching him though. Just not on my team.
The rest of you, keep crying and whining. You are entertaining me like a clown.:p

Great person, great human being, if I had a daughter he would be the type of person I would want her to marry. All that said, he is not a good NFL QB. Make a position switch he could become a Steeler tomorrow as far as I am concern.

With all due respect, the though that Tebow is kneeling to ask God for help to win football games is all sorts of stupid. And I really mean the all due respect part :D

He would have been awful on the final drive too if the Jets had not decided all of a sudden to change their defense.

Well maybe he kneels just as much when the cameras are not on him. His faith seems pretty genuine. To me, the kneeling is a lot less bothersome than the stupid celebrations.

Wow, what an amazing talent you have, to be able to read what's in a person's mind and heart. Congratulations.

Would you be concerned with Tebow not being able to satisfy your daughter due to a lack of sexual experience?

I like Tebow for what he stands for. I love his message. People bash him for preaching God and following his religion, which I totally don't understand. Somehow it has become frowned upon. Jesus is great. Tebow is a winner and stands for what is right.

If he did that would be the first father in history to be concerned about his daughter having a satisfactory sexual relationship.

The Mrs. and I are trying, and it's difficult to talk to her dad about it because no dad likes to hear or think about his daughter getting.... boned... even after 3 years of Marriage.

beg to differ, he is a good qb, field general, leader, winner! You don't raise the level of your teammates play (on offense), by playing hb, wo, sb or whatever. Stats? how do you compare him and to who? If you watched pregame yesterday, you saw the comparison of his first eight game stats blew away Elways. Biggest category was wins! (Elway had a cannon, but it was not a foregone conclusion that he would be a five time SB, 2 time SB winner, HOF QB).

It will give Tebow a chance to expand his brand even more.

"They said I couldn't get her off!"

Amen, he's a good guy. He's doing good things for needy people with his money and doesn't give a **** about what people think. Personally I think we need more of his kind in sports, genuine good hearted people. He is one of few amongst arrogant thugs that now litter professional sports.

Tebow is going to become a very serviceable quarterback. But it will be the behind the scenes leadership, habits, and team building characteristics that will make Tebow's teams great.

People can't seem to understand that there's other ways a quarterback can become highly compensated and provide tremendous value to their organization. An average throwing quarterback with mobility and the ability to make everyone else on his team work harder and play better is just as valuable an excellent pocket passer such as Phillip Rivers.

Dawg, that is just creepy. Their sex life would be between them, that is something she would have to decide. Just look me in the eye, firm handshake and promise to take care of her and never hurt her. Is there any doubt Tebow would not do that? Based on what I know I would not have any.

I don't have to read minds or heart, anybody that has read the bible knows the way Tebow is going about it is the exact opposite of how he should be praying.

I dont think that Tebow is going to have an illustrious career...we very well could be witnessing its apex...

That being said, I am enjoying it.

Food for thought, Jeff George was probably the most gifted QB in the history of the NFL, but he couldn't stick with a team because he lacked nearly every single other quality you look for in a leader.

Tebow is exactly the polar opposite, he's an absolute mess mechanically, but he's a tremendous leader.

It will be interesting to compare those two careers when all is said and done.
