I have ZERO respect for that LSU team

I respect most of you guys posts about the arrogance and stuff from LSU, you can interpret it however you want, it aggrivates me as well when players celebrate for doing their jobs, but most schools now allow them to play that way because it keeps them intense and into everyplay of the game, Kirk F, is not that type of coach, he is a disciplinarian MOST other coaches in the country or not...that does not make it wrong or right, it's just everyones opinions. Some of the issues I have are when people say we could have, should have won that game we are better than them.....that's bull and you know it. Iowa only stayed close because 1. Defense played well....but you still gave up 220 yards rushing.....2. Kickoff return to the 4 . Take away the int for 6 and the kickoff return and you did absaloutley nothing on offense.....so it really was pure domination outside of 2 plays. Oh and the refs ...yes they were horrible, the non fumble call(play blown dead) ******** ball was out as soon as there was contact, and the overturner fumble call....no way was that an incomplete pass.

LSU was the better team, but you can't start picking and choosing plays (or entire units, in the case of "defense") to vaporize from the game and claim domination. You could vaporize a few LSU plays and Iowa wins easy, too.

Also, that most certainly was an incomplete pass. In addition to the fact that the replay showed the QB's arm moving forward, the fact that the ball flew several (if not 10 or 15) yards in the direction opposite that of the defender's hit is pretty conclusive. That doesn't happen unless the QB's arm is moving forward.

Canzeri undoubtedly fumbled, however, and the refs blew that call.

You sure threw a whole lot of 'ifs' in there didn't you? Well 'if' Iowa doesn't muff a punt and instead drives 20 yards and kicks a FG, Iowa wins. Works both ways there, sport. Not many people on here are saying that Iowa was the better team. In fact, most people on here are conceding that LSU was better. All that you are trying to do with this post is instigate.

BTW...that Canzeri play may have been a fumble but LSU didn't recover the ball anyway so it wouldn't have made a huge difference.

Looked to me like LSU got Canzeri's fumble. Did I miss that?

One of the Iowa lineman fell on it, how an LSU player came out with the ball is beyond what I could see (he must have wrestled it away). The replays I seen I don't know how the officials could have awarded it to LSU.

Yeah--I saw the lineman that you are referring to, but I couldn't see that he had actual possession of the ball. Moot issue at this point, I guess.

It is a moot point, although LSU fans like to keep bringing it up. After watching the play I was shocked that an LSU player came out of the pile with the ball. You do not see to many Iowa lineman losing a scrum like that, especially being a wrestling school. But even had they not ruled the play dead and reviewed it I cannot see how they could awarded the ball to LSU.

Guess what guys, you don't want a-holes showboating and behaving like morons...beat the crap out of them on the field. It's amazing what a 17 point lead will do for that stuff...and every time you line up you bloody their freaking nose. That's what the SEC is all about. The teams hate each other and it's a war most of the time. I was at the Georgia / Florida game the past two years and it was all the referees could do to keep the teams separated at the end of the games...they were brutally physical games. To me, only MSU plays that way in the Big Ten. I'm not saying we should showboat, and our defense played great today for 8 of the 10 times LSU had the ball, but it wasn't good enough because our offense isn't where it needs to be. The defense played like an SEC defense...the offense played like a MAC team. Sorry, but that's the way I see it.

I would agree with one comment you made: "Sorry, but that's the way I see it." You absolutely should be sorry that's the way you see it.

I don't agree that the better team won. I think the team with the better game plan one. Iowa had one half where they showed how good they really were and that was when they played OSU. Before that and after Iowa hasn't shown what they can do.

Buckeyes looked scared going into the half.....

Hey, Pin. Classic Mark Twain..."There is nothing more irritating than a good example." Thanks!

What about the iowa QB he came back without a limp ?? Was that a fake hurt ?? If LSU had wanted to LSU could have doubled Hill's yardage , then what would be said ?? What I wanted to see was a 42 to 14 game LSU winning . LSU didn't have to score anymore points to win , that tells me a little about the Iowa team .This LSU team has played down to the team they are playing . Look at the Auburn game , then at the Texas A&M game , look what A&M could not do against the LSU team . Now look at the Ole Miss and Ga games . Bama just whipped us , but then Look at Auburn . They whipped some Bama Butt. Now then I will tell you what I saw in your Iowa team , that as a LSU fan I like .
You have a team that I think is 4 or 5 players away from being the team that you want . Next season I think with the bounch of the football, you will have a 1 or 2 loss team . In fact may it not lose one game , that will up to your Iowa team . It was a good game , was drinking my coffee , wondering out loud why don't they run Hill over there again it is their weak side . Hope to see your team an my team at the Big Game next year . Looking for a rematch in 2015 both teams 12-0 it could happen, See you next year ,

Hill was the best offensive football player on the field. LSU deserved to win the game; they are a better team with better athletes. Interesting though...Iowa was the 7th ranked defensive team in the country this year. Their opponents averaged about 300 yards per game. LSU had about 300 yards. Guess your team was about "average" on offense when it comes to the teams Iowa played. Right? Iowa's problem was a below average offense against a very fine defense.

Officiating was miserable. The ridiculous "defense not allowed to set" call and missed pass interference on the running back pass play back to back were shameful. Also the missed taunting call when the lineman grabbed his crotch and danced staring at the sidelines was just off the charts trashy. I went from being apathetic about LSU, to absolute hate after being at the game yesterday. I found LSU fans to be okay, but the players were deplorable

In all fairness, the "missed" PI call was pretty much a bang-bang play. I had to watch it a few times on DVR to say the DB hit the receiver JUST before the ball got there. It was THAT close.

The faked injuries thing is what chaps me. How is this not addressed better by conferences and the NCAA?!

#90 went down and grabbed his left leg. When the trainers turned him over, they worked on his right leg. The guy missed exactly ONE play. A cramp bad enough to bring a guy down--who wasn't even in on the play and barely had any contact during it, BTW--would seem to be more than a take-one-play-off gig.

That said, LSU is the better team, because the simply have a better offense. Our defense is as good as theirs, for the most part.

Yeah but KF would (and probably has) put a stop to it before it ever gets to the level that LSU is. Kirk is not a 'players coach', he is a disciplinarian. For example, he would never let the team vote on whether or not to suspend a player for violating his probation before a key game. He would make that decision himself.
didn't the team vote Benny sapp off the team?
