I am downright shocked that nobody has posted anything like that. For the other nine wins, somebody posted it.

I guess those people realize that this win was ugly, and was against a team that is not so equally terrible.

However, I have more hope that IU will turn things around than I have Iowa will.

They actually have a coach on the sidelines with emotion and passion. And, this just in, Tom Crean is a great coach. Period.

10 wins on March 1st.

Never thought I would see that day again.

Those who are actually glad Iowa won are NOT disappointed that the Lick bashers still find something to b!tch about after a win...congrats.

Well as bad as Iowa is right now, Indiana appears a LONG, LONG ways away from becoming anything good. I mean they got smoked twice by Iowa, that's bad. They will still be bad next year.

I also didn't know it was a requirement for a coach to have emotion and passion at the level of Tom Crean in order to be a good coach.

I don't know how the players respond to Crean but it comes across TV as just plain over-the-top madness. The running up and down the floor, the incessant talking, the jerky movements, the crazy clapping at any foul or turnover committed by the opponent -- that's unnatural and borderline immature. Hell, it is immature.

I once worked for someone in the corporate world who had the same sort of traits. It's domineering control, to the point of being smothering to those being supervised. It's the sign of an insecure person. It wasn't pretty; individuals in the unit started bickering with each other because they felt they had no control, no freedom in what they were doing, little chance to do their jobs well as they saw fit under the guidelines of basic oversight.

The unit started to disintegrate and underachieve, and finally turned on the supervisor. Eventually he was canned.

Will be interesting to see how long Crean lasts.

Crean is a good coach...if you watched at time outs...his guys were laughing and having a good time with him. Take Iowa's leading scorer away from us that early and we would stink too! He is a high energy guy...the only thing saving him is good recruiting classes...and he basically took over a death row program.

You mean we can blame our lousy season on Anthony Tucker? Yeah!

In all seriousness, I think Crean is a good coach, but he is a bit over the top with his actions on the sidelines for my liking. He has a tough job, though at IU and his leash probably won't be as long as Licklighter's.

So you'll support Crean in his struggle bringing life back to a program before you will support Lick?

Great coach? Really? He made 1 run with Marquette, with Mr. Dwayne Wade no less, and parlayed that into the IU job. His team is more talented than ours yet we waxed them twice by 15. His team is also absolutely tanking this year also.

Running up and down the sidelines and having your teammates laughing during timeouts doesn't mean sh--. It snows some people into thinking you're a good coach though, apparently.

As I Lick supporter, I think the win today speaks for itself. I would not call it ugly, Iowa dominated.....worked the ball inside alot, hit some open shots, played good defense and made FT's down the stretch. That was a game Iowa should have won and they did. There is no reason to come on here and claim it was a dynasty builder by any means.

So what is you point? You want to pile on? Get a life!!

Crean is a cartoon. He yells constantly which I think means his kids don't hear him. If you have to jump up and down and scream to get kids to play hard then you might have the wrong approach. Todd is 3-1 against the guy, with lesser talent.

Let me see, if you win the majority of the games against another coach with inferior talent, does that make you a better coach or just really lucky?

I really don't see the relevancy. Explain to me then Ghost, how Lick has coached against Creen with inferior talent and still keeps on winning? Explain to me how that happens.

Sure, he's a better coach than Crean. My point is that is nothing to brag about.

Call me when he gets Painter's number, then you can get my attention.
