The whole "we need to recruit better" narrative is harped on by the fans constantly and is a false one. They get top 25 classes and recruit higher ranked classes than most of the teams they play, certainly in the West. Like you say, I guess they expect a bunch of 5 stars and top 10 classes.

Iowa recruits "inferior" players to Nebraska and has as many national titles and playoff appearances as Nebraska in the last 20 years...ZERO.

The fans on Huskerboard are now comparing what Washington did to sharing a picture of your little kid taking a bath with Grandma - as in if you think that Washington should be punished for keeping a video of a 15 year old girl performing sex acts for 3 years and then sending it on, you think that every parent who sends a picture to grandma of their kids in the bath should also be punished.
