Huskers Suspend 2 More

My only problem with the game was the storming of the field afterwards. All I gathered from that is CU football must be really down to celebrate like that after a win against Nebraska and on the flip side the Nebraska fan base must think they're nationally relevant again if teams are storming the field after beating them.

Don't show them that kind of respect by storming the field. Treat them like everyone else does. Walk all over them and then take them outside and beat them mercilessly when needed like you would any other door mat.

@IowaHusker should have grown a fucking pair years ago. And BTW, you lose any small amount of credibility you have when you apologize for talking shit to fans of opposing teams. I can respect a douche bag fan who rides and dies by his team and his corresponding shit talking, but apologizing for it later just shows that not only do you root for a long gone has been that your wife forced on you, but you’re weak-minded too.

If you wanna talk trash go ahead, but own it. This isn’t “Crucial Conversations” training where you nervously piss the floor and roll over to submit to people who don’t like your opinions. Grow a spine and have some fucking pride in yourself, Doris.

One of my best friends from high school grew up a Cyclone fan. He ended up meeting a girl from Omaha, marrying her and moving there. Now he's a Nebraska fan AND a Cyclone fan....like the worst human being in existence. I'll never stop ripping on him for it. You don't adopt a new team because you moved somewhere or married into it, thats not how it works.

I moved to Minnesota and married a Gopher fan and now she actively roots for the Hawkeyes. That's what a real man does.

The whole "we need to recruit better" narrative is harped on by the fans constantly and is a false one. They get top 25 classes and recruit higher ranked classes than most of the teams they play, certainly in the West. Like you say, I guess they expect a bunch of 5 stars and top 10 classes.

They have literally never recruited top ten other than maybe a couple years in the Osborne era.

Nebraska and Colorado have an extremely heated rivalry. They are right next door to each other and the differences are beyond vast. Driving thru Nebraska with Iowa plates is an adventure. People at service stations glare at you when they see your plates......

The Nebraska fans consider Colorado exactly the same as Minnesota fans loathe Iowa. WHO HATES IOWA.....

I still remember, rather fondly, the day Number One Nebraska went to Colorado and received a Severe Ass-Whipping. One of the worst I have ever seen. It was a Thanksgiving Treat for me.....

November 23, 2001: Top Ranked Nebraska lost to Number 14 Colorado: 62-36.....

Hawkeyes are not the only ones to despise the huskers.....

Poor coaching and leadership...punks often fold under the pressure. Don't mentor your players to be punks like you.

I moved to Omaha in '99, married a Husker...she wears Hawkeye gear on Saturdays now, as do my 6 year old Twins. She still cheers for nebby, but she knows more about Iowa Football.
 
There is a lot of Nebraska fans in Denver. Frankly, I think as many Husker fans as true CU fans out here. So I think that adds to the rivalry as much as anything.
