How Iowa lost Melvin Gordon

Well, considering in the three B1G games he's been healthy for, he's run for 439 yards at a 6.2-yard clip and scored twice, I'd say he's probably going to be just fine. The issue is whether he can stay healthy throughout the B1G schedule. And that's a concern for Canzeri and Bullock, too.
Was gonna let it go... but don't you think Weisman's running style is what gets him injured? Duh?

Doc gets word from the horse's mouth-

It was legend that Gordon, now a junior, told people he changed to Wisconsin because he saw a post-game locker room fight. Monday, Gordon refuted that.
“I never saw a fight,” Gordon said. “I saw guys who were like upset. But no one fought. I don’t know where that came from. It definitely didn’t play a factor in my decision at all.”

Another message board urban legend that turns out to be untrue.

“It wasn’t that loud when I was there, but it could have been where I was sitting,” Gordon said. “From what I hear from different players, that was the loudest stadium that they’ve been to. Being on the field, you can’t really hear. I know (running back) James (White) was telling me it was one of the loudest stadiums he’d ever been to. So I’m excited. I’m really excited to play Iowa and feel the atmosphere.”

I'm thinking the horse might actually be dead...but someone must see some phantom-breathing going on...but good find Hoffa. Who would have thought a guy would end up staying in-state?

Young man didn't listen to his Mama. You should always listen to your Mama. Specially when she wants you to become a Hawkeye.

If Kinnick is like it was for the OT period vs NW, he'll definitely feel/hear it. If its like much of the 3rd and 4th quarter... Then not so much.

So Melvin Gordon was from Kenosha, and John Clay was from Racine. And its somebody's fault if they go to school in Madison.
