With his running style, Gordon would've had all kinds of troubles getting touches in Iowa's offense, though.
As MeatMan said before, Gordon is like Canzeri. Is that why Canzeri doesn't get many touches or is it because of RB depth and how well Weisman is playing?

Side question on Gordon. His is listed as a sophomore by Wisconsin and on TV tonight but he played 4 games as a true freshman in 2011 (20 carries), then last year (2012) in all 14 games and now this year. Does that not make him a junior and not a sophomore? I do not get it.

KF likes Weisman's style... simple as that. KF schemes offensive plays more for runners like Weisman.
I'm just happy Gordon made the best decision for him, for his life. If he'd come to Iowa, he'd been placed in a lower string (or been asked to be a receiver), wouldn't have gotten many touches, and probably would've rebeled. He probably would've quit training or started to smoke dope, something like that, because he didn't care... Would've ruined his entire life.
Gordon made the right decision when he came to Wisconsin.

Why do people assume Gordon would fall into Canzeri's spot? Did no one stop and think that maybe Gordon is BETTER than Canzeri, and would therefore get a lot more touches than Jordan does?

There is no sound basis for making such a claim. Weisman has had quite a lot of success thus far. Just because he didn't come in as a tailback doesn't automatically mean Canzeri is better. Bullock is a tailback, yet I don't think people would debate whether or not he's better than Weisman. Calling for Canzeri to see a little more action, if for no other reason than to see what he can do, is one thing. Saying he's better than the guy who's averaging over 5 ypc and is 4th in the nation in rushing yards is another.

B1G is upcoming. We'll see how good Weisman is then. Every defenseman is as big as him and as fast as him.

Well, considering in the three B1G games he's been healthy for, he's run for 439 yards at a 6.2-yard clip and scored twice, I'd say he's probably going to be just fine. The issue is whether he can stay healthy throughout the B1G schedule. And that's a concern for Canzeri and Bullock, too.
