Just like 2013, run it right at them and knock the crap out of them. They will get tired of that and they dont have any superstars on defense I believe to make huge plays.

paulzoss summed it up very nicely. IMHO, this could/probably will be Iowa's toughest game so far for all the cited reasons. We Iowa fans have every reason to be excited about what's transpired so far, but all good things come to an end at some point. Should things not go as planned against Nebby, and should the Hawks turn around and lose in the BIG championship game as well, the bloom will be off the rose somewhat. Yet there would still be a bowl game to play and lots--I mean lots--to be proud of. Hawkeye Football is back on the map, thank goodness!

I'm confident in Koehn kicking a 50 yarder to win the game but I'd be sweating bullets if it were a 20 yarder.

20 yard RIGHT HASH is probably his worst spot. Going to have conditions similar to Saturday's game minus the snow. Wind will be a huge factor.

I wasn't naming names, but I was thinking of Mabin and Fisher, certainly not King. I hope you're right. I just don't like a backup QB from Purdue having all day and shredding our pass defense. Armstrong can be on or off. If he's on, I think we might have trouble. If we don't contain, he'll run. If we don't cover, they can score pretty fast.

Agreed on Mabin, seems to have regressed. But how many plays (I can think of 2) did King get out of position and get beat trying too hard for the pick record? If I could say one thing to King it would be to play the smart game he's played all year for the team's sake. The records will come, his pick will come if he just plays lock down like he did for the previous 10 games.

Tackle, block and punch them in the mouth. That's how we beat Nebraska. Do that and they'll give up soon. Strategy wise, attack their weak secondary and don't let TA scramble too much.

We're going to have to get in the film room and watch a lot of tape. They are a well coached team with a lot of weapons, but I have confidence in our guys. I know CJ will be tested all day long but I am confident he will continue to perform at a high level.
