Iowa still has it's ultimate goal in front of them and also they have shitty fans cheering for them to lose.
Getting blown out can absolutely be embarrassing. It's circumstantial. If you look at yourself as the way overmatched underdog and just happy to be there then ok. But if you're actually a competitive person and give a shit then losing itself can be embarrassing let alone getting blown out. Put yourself in the box that fits you
