I don't buy the conspiracy theory but for those who do, here's some fuel for the fire.

"The six-member panel includes Cornell athletics director J. Andrew Noel Jr., Oklahoma State senior associate athletics director David Martin, Central Michigan senior associate athletics director Derek van der Merwe, Virginia coach Steve Garland, Rider coach Gary Taylor and Oregon State coach and former Iowa coach Jim Zalesky."

Iowa’s McDonough gets No. 2 seed at NCAAs | Hawk Central

The problem I have is they have most of the Big Ten on the same side of the bracket. It's nice to see wrestlers get a chance to meet other guys besides the ones they just did.Not sure if I'm wording it right.

I actually didn't mind the seeds. This isn't a meet that we can win by riding a few champs, this is a meet we can win by placing a lot of guys. We have pretty good paths to the quarters, from there win or lose (and I'm taking all victories in the semis as a bonus) we can place a lot of guys still. I wish Robles and Precin were on the same side, but in the end no matter what McD was going to have to beat 2 out of those 3. Precin is the one who got screwed.

If Ramos can beat Long again then we'll be thankful for his draw. St. John can't beat Taylor. I REALLY wanted to see dsj go through any of the higher seeds just b/c we haven't seen them.
