Just saw on Game Day recent history of the NY day bowl matchups has the Big Ten on top of America's "premier conference" and Herbie followed that up with a great analysis of why they no longer are.

Lee Corso can cuck my sock. He's such a prude. It gets sick seeing how ESPN pimps the SEC because they have so much invested in it now.

They put up a matchup of the top 8 or so SEC teams vs the Big 10 teams such as Alabama vs Ohio ST
Iowa vs Florida
Wisky vs Arkansas
etc. etc.

and Lee Corso, being the _unt that he is actually said he doesn't think the Big 10 would win one game with a Big10 vs SEC match-up. Come on, not one game. The guy is off his rocker. Over history, the match-ups are pretty even & this is a year the SEC is supposedly down & the Big 10 is supposedly stronger than in the past. That's just delerious & really quite stupid.

He's still bitter from getting his *** handed to him when he coached in the Big Ten.

I think everyone knows that Corso isn't on the set for his football knowledge. He's the entertainment factor for Gameday. Also, he picked Zona to win so that's probably a good sign for the Hawks.

And to top it off Corso picks AZ to win because his Indiana team lost 26-10 in Tuscon thirty years ago.

As long as he doesn't pick Iowa. He's bad luck. I mute the tv when I think he's going to pick the hawks.

People do not realize that the big 10 may have a bad bowl record compared to the Pac 10 and other conferences, but what they fail to realize, is that we usually send 2 teams to BCS games, and our 2nd and 3rd place teams are scheduled to play 2nd and 3rd in SEC. We have the best bowl alliances in the nation from competitive, good games. Who wants to see the Pac-10 play in the vegas/ San Fran bowl?

Watching the SEC is like watching a slam dunk competition or a home run derby. Espn refuses to compare apples to apples but I geuss thats hard when they cant see them play big ten defenses. But why would they refer back to the bowl games that was last year.
