We could try that, since Iowa State likes to say that Iowa supports farmers with a sticker while they help farmers with research anyway...
Hmm...in that vein, how about Iowa goes with a "AND" (America Needs Doctors) since they help people get over the cancer that Iowa State research helps promote by putting more crap into our crops and animals??? Win/Win???

I still think an updated version of the 1971 helmet looks cool. The only thing keeping the team from ever using it is how terrible the 71 team was.

I like the double stripe. The bird, not so much.
I think the scrippt Iowa helmets were around that era. I'd like to see that logo return, just not on a helmet.

These are the uniforms from the Pittsburg Power arena league team and I'm a huge fan. Put a Yellow "I" on the helmet or the tiger hawk and they would be perfect.

I would only change a couple things ... black pants with a gold stripe for the road uniforms (exact inverse of the gold pants)
or keep the gold pants on the road and go all-black on the shoes/socks
either way, more black in the road uniform

This. Exactly. Although the ANF does need to go. That's like saying America Needs Lawyers.
Leave the logo alone. Double stripe on helmet would look good. I've always been --meh-- about a single stripe on a helmet. Two or nada.
I'm not opposed to doing something different for an away game once a season.
Pants are where to do the change-up. Probably not jerseys. and definitely not ever the tigerhawk on the helmet. ever.

I saw a few creative helmet designs whch made me wonder what could be done with Iowa's.
Seriously though, this is friggin awesome. Therefore it will never see the inside of Kinnick. Like ever.
